Questions about PetPort

Both apps are still in development, so these answers say what is true today rather than what we hope to announce. If something is missing, write to us.

The product

What is PetPort?
PetPort is a pet-care platform with two connected apps. The Pet Parent app holds your pet's profile and records, lets you discover pet-care services and book them. The Pet Partner app is the workspace pet-care businesses use to receive and manage that work — bookings, calendar, services, customers and earnings.
Who is PetPort for?
Pet parents, and the professionals who look after their pets — vet clinics, groomers, boarding, trainers, sitters, dog walkers, and shelters.
What services will be available?
Veterinary care, grooming, boarding, training, pet sitting, dog walking and other pet services. What you can actually book depends on which partners are live in your city.
How will booking notifications work?
You request a slot in the Pet Parent app. The partner receives the request in their app with your pet's profile attached, and accepts or declines. You're notified of the outcome, and the visit stays in your pet's record.
What is the Pashu Aadhaar QR tag?
A scannable tag linked to your pet's digital identity. Whoever finds your pet scans it, the identity page opens in any browser — no app or account needed — and you're alerted.
Is PetBot medical advice?
No. PetBot answers everyday pet-care questions in plain language and always points you to a vet. It gives suggestions, never a diagnosis.
What happens to my records if I don't upgrade?
Nothing is ever deleted. Once you pass the free limits the extra photos and documents are locked and blurred, not removed — upgrading brings all of it back exactly as it was. Your pet's latest rabies and core vaccine certificates stay visible on the free plan, forever.
Can my vet add records for me?
They can, and nothing lands in your pet's file without you. When a clinic or groomer adds a record it waits for your approval first, so the history stays yours even when someone else is writing to it.

Launch, joining & privacy

Is PetPort available yet?
Not yet. Both apps are in development and testing, and neither is published on the App Store or Google Play.
When will PetPort launch?
We aren't committing to a public date while the apps are in testing. Join early access or the launch list and you'll hear from us before the general release.
Which cities will PetPort launch in?
PetPort is built in Vadodara, Gujarat, and we onboard partners city by city. We haven't announced a city list — tell us where you are when you join and we'll factor it in.
How can I join early access?
Message us on WhatsApp from the early access section of the home page, or email info@petport.cloud. No account needed yet.
How can I become a Pet Partner?
Start on the partner page — founder pricing is ₹19,999/yr for a vet clinic, ₹11,999/yr for a pet business and ₹9,999/yr for a shelter or NGO, capped in slots and honoured for the full term stated at signup.
Is my pet's data private?
Yes. PetPort is built to India's DPDP Act from day one. You give consent one purpose at a time, you can withdraw it whenever you like, and every time a clinic or business views a record it is written to a sharing log you can read.
Which languages does PetPort support?
Eight: English, हिंदी, ગુજરાતી, मराठी, বাংলা, தமிழ், తెలుగు and ಕನ್ನಡ.
